How things work

  Fire TV

  Full access to Prime Video is included. Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming apps are also available — please log in with your own credentials and remember to log out at the end of your stay.

  Oven

  To activate the oven, hold the clock icon on the control panel for about 5 seconds until it beeps and a heating icon appears on the display. You can then use the dials to select your heating function and temperature.

  Hot water tap

  Push the left lever down, then pull it forward (towards you) to dispense hot water. Please take care — the water is boiling.

• 🌬️

  Fans

  There is a fan in each bedroom for warmer nights.

• ♨️

  Heating

  All thermostats are set to 18°C throughout the unit, which should be comfortable year-round. If you'd like it warmer, simply press the up arrow on the thermostat.

  Gas BBQ

  Switch the gas on at the tank using the small black lever — move it to the upright position. After cooking, please remember to turn it back to horizontal to prevent gas leaking from the tank. The tank has a fill gauge; please let us know if it's running low and we'll replace it.

  Vacuum

  Found in the laundry cupboard.

• 👕

  Washer / dryer

  Washing tablets can be found in the laundry cupboard, and all standard settings are available on the machine. We'll check the dryer before your arrival, but if you're staying for a while and using it regularly, you may need to empty the water reservoir and clean the fluff collector yourself.
