  Dark skies

  We sit within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and are proud to be mindful of its precious dark skies. Do please switch off any lights you're not using when you leave a room or head out for the evening. On a clear night, the stars here are genuinely worth stepping outside for.

  Honey from our hive

  We keep bees on site and produce a small batch of Baldslow honey each year. Jars are available to buy and can be found in the kitchen, along with pricing and payment instructions. We hope you enjoy it.

  Muddy shoes & boots

  There is a shoe rack just outside the front door — please leave muddy footwear here rather than bringing it inside. Perfect walking country inevitably comes with perfect walking mud.
